FPT attended the ceremony announcing Top 500 Vietnamese enterprises

According to the announcement of the Organization Board of selecting Top 500 Vietnamese enterprises in 2009, FPT Corporation has been ranked the first among private enterprises. The Awards Ceremony will take place from 8am to 12am Wednesday, January 13th, 2010 at Hanoi National Conference Centre.

The ceremony is held by VNR 500 Company, Vietnam Net, VTV1 and VN & Index Securities Company.

This ranking attracts attention of the press and is appreciated honorable ranking in Vietnam at the present; enterprise assessment criteria are confirmed prestige by experts.

CEOs of Top 500 Vietnamese enterprises in 2009 will take part in the awards presentation ceremony.

It is expected that FPT Vice Chairman cum Head of Internal Supervisory Board – Mr. Bui Quang Ngoc will be on behalf of the Company to receive the award.

There will be two presentations in the awards ceremony expected by experts. They are the presentation of Professor Joseph Nye from Harvard University with topic “Soft power and leading development strategy” and the representation of Doctor Mary Lyndon Haviland from United Nations with topic “Enterprise and Its Social Responsibility”.
