FPT awarded 3 Sao Khue prizes

The award was organized by Vietnam Software Association (Vinasa) in order to honor outstanding IT products, software solutions and services in Vietnam. It is a part of the 2011Vietnam ICT Summit titled “ICT for future development of the country” that had been organized from June 9 to 10.

Three out of 5 nominated items by FPT Corporation won the prize including a four-star-rated software award. The awarded software solutions was developed by FPT Information Systems known as “FPT.TQDT” for electronic customs clearance and “FPT.iHRP” for human resource and payroll management. Another Sao Khue was given to FPT University for academic and non-academic IT training services.

This year, the winning products and services was particularly highlighted in the awarding ceremony. The organizers revealed that all the 56 winning products had surprised the judging panel by their active copyright registration and their profound applicability in life and business.

Mr. Truong Gia Binh - FPT Chairman, head of the award judging panel said that commercial software solutions participating in the award this year had reflected a trend in the software industry where companies turned to separate intellectual property value from services implementation price, thus creating an initial ecosystem for local products and services. He also noted that a number of software solutions had been introduced following the above trend, uch as cloud computing.
