FPT become Symantec’s sole distributor in Vietnam

The event is regarded as an important milestone after10 years of cooperation between FPT Trading and Symantech.

Mr. Hadiyanto Wibawa, Symantec's channel manager for the Southeast Asia region, said that the company was continually reviewing and evaluating its distribution strategy to offer the best values to partners and customers. The good partnership with FPT Trading proved effective interaction between the two companies.

President cum CEO of FPT Trading Tran Quoc Hoai also stated that this was an important milestone in the relationship between FPT Trading and Symantec after 10 years of cooperation. He believed that experience and market understanding of FPT Trading, along with Symantec’s leading technologies would offer Vietnamese enterprises efficient data protection solutions.

FPT Trading started collaborative relationship with Symantec in 2004. In 2011, FPT Trading was also the only Vietnamese company to win the Best Partner Award of Symantec in Southern Asia. In Vietnam, FPT Trading is distribution partner of more than 20 major technology companies namely Acer, Asus, Apple, Cisco, Dell, HP, Intel, IBM, Lenovo, Linksys, Kingston, Microsoft, Toshiba, Seagate, Samsung, SAP etc.
