FPT becomes Microsoft’s Authorized Large Account Resellers
On June 21 in Washington D.C., FPT and CMC were officially recognized as Microsoft Authorized Large Account Resellers (LARs) in Vietnam and authorized to implement the contract signed between Microsoft and the Vietnamese Government in using copyrighted Microsoft Office software in government agencies and localities.

As an Authorized Large Account Reseller, FPT and CMC c an directly place orders from Microsoft and represent Microsoft in its major contracts in Vietnam .
The agreement involves the authorization for the use of Microsoft copyrighted software and its major technologies in small- and medium-sized enterprises for three years in large quantities. The larger quantities will be subject to a Microsoft promotion based on the number of licenses purchased in the future to use Microsoft software.
Under the agreement , FPT and CMC will receive strategic cooperation and training assistance from Microsoft to bring Vietnamese customers more value and benefits. They also commit to promoting the use of copyrighted software by Vietnamese enterprises and organizations.
FPT and CMC becoming two Microsoft Authorized Large Account Resellers was confirmed in a partnership agreement signed on 21 May 2007 witnessed by Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung and Microsoft CEO Mr. Steve Ballmer during his first working visit to Vietnam.
