FPT business results in July 2008
Although Vietnamese economy has not completely recovered from general difficulties, business results of the Corporation for Financing and Promoting Technology in July, 2008 continue to grow encouragingly together with growth rate in the first half of 2008.

Net revenue of the Corporation achieves over 1,360 billion dongs, exceeding 43.30% to planned; which also raises total revenue of the Corporation ended July to 9,951 billion dongs, exceeding 11.6% to planned and accounts for 66.6% of 2008 planning. Profit before tax also grows over 47 billion dongs raising total profit before tax of FPT to nearly 676 billion dongs, accounting for 60.4% of planning.
Business lines of FPT also have good results, in which leading business lines are traditional ones such as: Integration System, Software Outsourcing, Telecom, Education and Distribution.
These fields completed monthly revenue planning at 251%, 79.5%, 102.5%, 169.7% and 137.1% relatively; increasing their business planning in the first seven months to 124.4%, 98.5%, 110.5%, 131.4% and 111.5% relatively.
Especially, if we mention Software and Services separately, revenue is nearly 187 billion dongs, accounting for 86.4% of planning. This contributes 1,397 billion dongs to total revenue of the Corporation in the first seven months, exceeding 8.6% to planned.
According to good business results in July 2008, FPT does not suffer a lot from an unfavorable condition of financial market and economy in Vietnam. Therefore, the Company is going to aim to better business results next months.
