FPT Chairman joins Davos to discuss future of internet

FPT Chairman Truong Gia Binh will join the Annual Meeting of of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland, with The New Global Context as its theme.

45th WEF to be held from 21 to 24/1 will focus on 10 global challenges affecting the world today, including: environment and resource scarcity; employment skills and human capital; gender parity; long-term investing, infrastructure and development; food security and agriculture; international trade and investment; future of the internet; global crime and anti-corruption; social inclusion; and future of financial systems.

WEF is an annual event, bringing together business leaders, politicians, international organizations and academics to find solutions to global problems. FPT became a founding member of the WEF in November 2011.

The representative of FPT will join bilateral sessions at the Government level. Meanwhile, FPT Chairman will also meet leaders of the world's leading corporations in the areas the Corp pays attention to.

But it requires mutual trust. My hope is that the Annual Meeting serves as the starting point for a renaissance of global trust.”

Ahmet Davutoğlu , Prime Minister of Turkey, Béji Caïd Essebsi, President of Tunisia, François Hollande, President of France, Li Keqiang, Prime Minister of the People’s Republic of China, Angela Merkel, Federal Chancellor of Germany, John Kerry, US Secretary of State, Matteo Renzi , Prime Minister of Italy, Simonetta Sommaruga, President of the Swiss Confederation, and Jacob Zuma , President of South Africa, will be among the key government representatives present.

FPT attends the meeting to expand its network and relations as well as seek cooperation opportunities in the field of IT with large companies worldwide. In the framework of the Davos forum in 2014, FPT had many bilateral meetings with 20 leading US companies such as EMC, Aeta, Dell, KPMG, Citi Group, Bank of America , Lockheed Martin, Echolab, Qualcomm, UPS, Dupont, Nike ....
