FPT consolidate determination to globalize
From 7 to 8 November, more than 100 FPT leaders attended 2013 Strategic Conference held at Flamingo Dai Lai Resort, Vinh Phuc (Ha Noi). FPT consolidated its determination to globalize with a challenging target of USD1 billion.

"Since achieving USD1 billion in revenue in 2008, the Group has not seen such a strong growth. The Vietnamese market is getting too small for FPT", Chairman Truong Gia Binh said.
"FPT is facing a major challenge of overcoming itself to become an elephant", the head of FPT stated. According to him, social media, mobile technology, cloud computing and big data could enable FPT to become an elephant in the region.
The main orientations of the group in the near future include getting hundreds of millions of dollars from international markets towards USD 1 billion, helping the domestic IT market become an elephant of the region, enhancing professional knowledge as well as focusing on SMAC technology (Social, Mobility, Analytics, Cloud).
