Vietnamese Ambassador to Myanmar Phan Thanh Dung highly appreciated FPT’s contributions to the Vietnam – Myanmar relations.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Phan Thanh Dung said that in 2014, the bilateral trade relations achieved the target of USD 500 million.

Currently, the Vietnamese community in Myanmar surpassed 1,000 people. Mr. Dung hoped that FPT’s presence would help increase this figure.

"Myanmar expects to learn Vietnam's experience in applying modern technologies. I believe FPT has enough capacity to do this", said Mr. Dung.

After two years, FPT recognized that Myanmar is a special market with many similarities to Vietnam after the embargo. Myanmar people have many similarities with the Japanese: they take that trust very seriously and attach special importance to results.

"As experiencing that period in Vietnam, FPT understand what is necessary for and what is going to happen to Myanmar. In the global strategy, FPT want to develop Internet and education in Myanmar, bringing more jobs to laborers in Myanmar ", stated FPT Chairman.
