FPT cooperates with Hitachi to develop educational software solutions

The signing ceremony was attended by Mr. Nobuyuki Toda – Managing Director and Mr. Seiichi Ohata – Vice Director of the Department for Promoting Innovation of Public Services of the Hitachi Group, who were warmly welcomed by FPT’s Vice President Chu Thanh Ha, CEO Nguyen Thanh Lam of FPT Software, Deputy Director Nguyen Khac Thanh of FPT University and Director Nguyen Tuan Phuong of FPT Software Danang.

According to the MOU, FPT Software will take part in the development and commercialization of Hitachi’s university management system- Uniprove/AS in Vietnamese market. The system will also be piloted in FPT University in a twelve-month period, which result would further complete the solution to be more suitable with the educational environment and discipline in Vietnam.

Uniprove/AS is among the Uniprove series, which have been jointly developed by FPT Software Danang and Hitachi’s Information Public since late 2005.

The Uniprove system has been applied by 80 Japanese universities, in which the Uniprove/AS is currently used at 15 large private universities in Japan.

This MOU is also evidence for further cooperation possibilities between FPT and Hitachi in the fields of education, smart city and GIS beside their traditional cooperation in software development.
