FPT desire to build railway ticketing system
On December 16, FPT presented information technology application to the railway sector to the Ministry of Transport. FPT’s representative gave the outline of deploying ticketing system and customer service, building information infrastructure and implementing management and administration systems as well as operational support for the sector.

In order to improve operational efficiency and service quality as well as maximize the existing infrastructure, FPT proposed building ticketing and reservation system, customer service system and passenger data bank.
According to the Vietnam Railway Corporation, the implementation of online ticketing software is essential in order to overcome shortcomings of the railway sector in ticket sales in recent years.
