Nghia Tan Secondary School is the first educational institution of the district to meet the national standard for the phase of 2005 – 2010.

FPT Corporation has sponsored many educational activities, since the beginning of 2008:

• In May 2008, FPT joined with Kim Dong Publishing House to donate a book set, titled “Following Uncle Ho”, to 100 schools’ library in Hanoi. The donation was worth over 100 mil. VND
• On May 15, 2008, FPT signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Vietnam Chess Federation to promote chess playing in Vietnam as well as to support chess players in their preparation for international competition

The two computer labs has a total area of 100 m², equipped with one server and 45 high-performance desktops. Donated educational softwares include school timetable, testing question bank, school management. FPT also helped to develop a website for the school at www.thcsnghiatan.com and set up a camera system for different function rooms. More, FPT provided IT training course for teachers and administrative staff including skills of preparing electronic lessons, building test bank and school schedule.

“We are pleased to be the first school in Cau Giay district to receive donation of computers and training from FPT Corporation. We trust this investment will enable the school to better carry out “ The School Year of IT Application” initiated by the Ministry of Education to improve teaching and learning quality”, said Ms Phạm Thị Hạnh, Principal of Nghĩa Tân Secondary School.

“FPT always pays attention to education, especially technology training. In future, we plan to continue donation for other schools as an effort to join the society in its common cause of eduction”, said Mr. Trương Gia Bình, Chairman of the Management Board, and General Director of FPT Corporation.

FPT is currently processing donation of technical equipment IT training for Dich Vong A Primary School, another school in Cau Giay district, Hanoi.
