FPT donates USD 100,000 to Japan.
Afternoon 17th March, Japan Embassy to Vietnam-FPT CEO Nguyen Thanh Nam, on behalf of the Corporation, gave USD 100,000 to Japan to share with them difficulty and hardship after the earth quake and the tsunami that followed. The FPT will continue to urge donation within the group.

Mr.Koichi Aiboshi, Minister of Japanese Embassy in Vietnam said:“we have received heart felt sympathy and kindness from Vietnam as well as other international friends. FPT has come here and encouraged us and we arereally moved. I also have received many emails from friends working in FPT and other companies. We do hope our country soon overcome and recover from this disaster and the relationship between Japan and Vietnamese companies including FPT will be strengthened. I will pass your kind regards and support to Japanese government."
Previously, on 15th March, FPT Chairman Truong Gia Binh had led a team to FPT’s Japan-based branch to meet onsite employees and gave them 500 active carbon masks, and 100 kilos of instant noodle soup and green tea. He also visited FPT’s close partners and customers such as Hitachi Solution, Softbank Investment, NTT Data FinancialCore and Fujifilm.
There are over 130 FPT’s employees working in the areas of Tokyo and Osaka. Neither serious damages nor death toll has been reported so far. FPT Japan expects to reopen next Monday.
FPT still keeps in touch with Japanese customers and ensure their work continuity in Japan. Chairman Truong Gia Binh expressed his wish to share difficulty with customer by best implementation of current projects in terms of deadline and quality. FPT also lends a hand to Japanese people through donating food and materials .
Almost Japanese customers have comeback to normal work and commits to continue meeting and working with FPT afterthe quake./.
