FPT earned VND 1,609 billion of pretax profit in eight months
According to the Planning and Finance Committee of FPT, after eight months, FPT earned a total revenue of VND 17,313 billion, increasing by 13% compared to the same period last year and 10% of the eight-month plan, equivalent to 64% of the year plan.

Profit-before-tax reached VND 1,609 billion, increasing by 4% compared to the same period in 2012, completing 100% of the eight-month plan, equal to 61% of the year plan.
Profit-after-tax was VND 1,330 billion and profit-after-tax of holding company was VND 986 billion, respectively increasing 5% and 3% compared to the same period of the prior year, completing 60% and 58% of plan for the entire year.
Earning per share (EPS) was VND 3,599, an increase of 2% compared to the same period last year to accomplish 58% of the year plan.
Technology and Telecommunication accounted for the most proportion in the turnover pie. Technology-related businesses include Software, System Integration and IT Services, the cumulative progressive turnover and profit of which increased by 21% and 23%, respectively. Telecommunication business including internet services and digital content grew by 11% in both revenue and profit.
