FPT earned VND 516 billion in the first three months in 2011
Finishing the first quarter of 2011,FPT Corporation continued achieving positive business result. Corporate profitreached approximately VND 516 billion, an increase of 13% compared with the same period last year, completing 126% as planned. The total revenue was more than VND 5,075 billion, surpassing 19% compared with a year ago and completed 111% of plan. Profit-after-tax of parent company completed 128% of plan to reach VND 296 billion, earning 1,534 dongs per share.

After three months, core businesses including system integration, telecommunication and training have maintainedconstant growth. Other businesses also completed plan with positive result .
In system integration, FPT Information System Corporation earned more than VND 469 billion, increasing by 53% compared with the same period in 2010. Profit-before-tax was approximately 41 billion dongs, 45% higher than a yearago and completed 159% of plan.
In software outsourcing, total revenue of FPT Software Joint Stock Company afterthree months was VND 272 billion, growing 21% over 2010 with profit of morethan VND 64 billion, completing 113% of plan.
In telecommunication, total revenue of FPT Telecom Joint Stock Company reached more than VND 733 billion, an increase of 39% compared with a year ago. Profit-before-tax was VND 188 billion, completing 119% of plan.
In distribution, FPT Trading Groupgained impressive revenue of more than VND 3,464 billion, growing 11% compared with last year. Profit-before-tax, however, was approximately VND 134 billion, completing only 102% as planned.
In training, FPT University earned approximately VND 102 billion inrevenue, an increase of 80% in comparison with the same period last year andcompleted 125% of plan.
With positive business result in thefirst three months, it is possible for the FPT Group to achieve plan targeting for 2011.
