FPT gets 2nd for 2007 Annual Professional Report Contest

On June 27th, 2008, in Hochiminh City, the Hochiminh Stock Exchange Department, the Stock Investment Magazine and Dragon Capital Fund Management Company jointly held the 2007 Annual Professional Report Award Ceremony. FPT’s report won the second prize in the contest.

This is the first Annual Professional Report Contest ever in Vietnam. The Contest aims to praise achievements made by listed enterprises in producing annual reports with accuracy, transparency and creativity.

33 out of 150 of Hochiminh Stock Exchange listed enterprises participated in the contest.

Among the submitted reports, 6 best reports were selected to receive prizes, including 1 first prize, 1 second prize, 3 third prizes and 1 prize for the most impressive design report.

With its strategy of connecting “E-Citizens” through long-term and medium-term development efforts, FPT’s 2007 Annual Report won second prize. Of special note, the report has reserved a feedback section for investors to inquire about related information such as: regulations, financial reports, resolutions of the general assembly of shareholders... This feature helped the report to standout and was highly appreciated by the Board of Examiners.

Reports were evaluated by content and appearance criteria as follows:

In terms of contents, information must be clearly and transparently reported:

· Company’s profile, goals and development strategy.

· Management Board’s assessment of operations

· Financial Assessment

· Administrative Assessment

In terms of appearance, the following features were looked for:

· Features that made the report impressive and standout.

· Cover design

· Report’s general form, including effective use of various charts and figures to present financial data (financial quotient, growth quotient, value-added)

· Creativity (in themes and images)

· Information communication (through contents, charts and images)
