FPT has participated in building the Treasury and Budget Management Information System

TABMIS is the project of Treasury and Budget Management Information System of Ministry of Finance, which has been signed by FPT Corporation and IBM to be built in cooperation. So far, this has been the highest-value IT outsourcing contract of a Vietnamese company. This project will integrate the current separated finance management systems into a unified information system.

The signed contract between FPT and IBM will last for 4 years. As an outsourcer, FPT will provide the hardware, build the system, do the training and deploying job, support the system operation for the national treasuries in 64 provinces and cities and over 600 districts in Vietnam. TABMIS has been sponsored by WB with the total contractual worth of about 44 million USDs.

After the opening ceremony, TABMIS was officially deployed at national treasuries. Previously, the model of TABMIS was deployed at the national treasury in Hai Phong on April 09 and at other units under Ministry of Finance on April 13. In the near future, the model of TABMIS will continue to be deployed at the financial offices and national treasuries in Ha Nam province.

The ceremony was attended by Mr. Pham Sy Danh – Deputy Minister of Finance, Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhon, General Director of National Treasury, Head of TABMIS Deployment Board, Ms. Kathaleen – representative of IBM, FPT outsourcers (FPT Information System- ERP) and Oracle.
