FPT increase ownership percentage in FPT Telecom
FPT Corporation completed the acquisition of 1,098,057 shares of the FPT Telecom Joint Stock Company (FPT Telecom) at a price of VND 52,000/share on August 14.

Under the resolution 01.08-2014/NQ-HDQTFPT, the plan of purchasing FPT Telecom shares from minority shareholders aimed at increasing FPT’s ownership percentage in FPT Telecom.
According to announcement to the State Securities Commission, FPT Corporation increased the number of its FPT Telecom shares from 50,382,418 40.43%) to 51,480,475 (approximately 41.31%) on August 14.
The move of FPT has not yet changed FPT telecom’s largest shareholder. Accordingly, the State Capital Investment Corporation (SCIC) remains the largest shareholder with 50% stake.
In recent years, telecom industry is one of the core businesses, making significant contribution to FPT’s total revenue.
