FPT Information System company won government project bid
October 15th 2007, Vietnam Ministry of Science and Technology officially announced FPT Information System Company won the bid ‘Purchase, Assembly and Pilot Operations of network’ worth VND39.1 billion

The bid is a part of Asia-Europe Information Project in Vietnam, Phase II (TEIN-2) which is a high tech requirements bid that will be implemented in main cities across the nation. The project is coordinated by FIS TEG and FIS INF (under FPT Information System Company).
Objective of the TEIN-2 is to provide an Asia-Europe backbone, facilitating equity in resources sharing for researches, bridging the I/T cooperation and enhancing coordination in research and training among ASEM nations, especially in developing countries in Southeast Asia./
