FPT Information System Corporation to build senior personnel under international standard
In accordance with the decision by FPT Group on functional distinction between Board of Management and Board of Directors, in which the Chairman’s role excludes the CEO’s one, the Board of Management of FPT Group and FPT-IS had approved the resolution that Mr. Do Cao Bao finishes his role as FPT-IS’ CEO.

Born in 1973, Mr. Duong Dzung Trieu had been General Director of FPT Software Solution Company for many years. Since the unification of FPT-IS in 2007, Trieu has kept the role of Deputy General Director of FPT-IS. Used to be a software engineer, being through the position of business man, manager and leader, the appointment of Trieu as the CEO has affirmed that software and IT services are core strength of FPT-IS.
Mr. Le Thanh Trung was born in 1977, who possesses business excellence to explore and develop new market for FPT-IS. He is now General Director of FPT-IS Bank who accounts for 50% of revenue and 50% of profit of FPT-IS). The Board of Management also assigned him to keep the role of General Director of FPT-IS Bank concurrently.
Thirty-seven-year-old Do Son Giang is the best man to deal with financial matters, who has been the Chief Accountant of FPT Group and FPT-IS for years.
In general, commencing on 9th March 2010 the new Board of Directors of FPT-IS includes: CEO Duong Dzung Trieu and Deputy General Directors Le Thanh Trung, Do Son Giang, Phung Viet Thang and Nguyen Tuan Hung.
As the Chairman, Mr. Do Cao Bao shall not participate in the execution of day-to-day operation but focus on matters relating to stock, bond, dividend, capital mobilization; investment projects; business strategies and mid-term plans; organization of senior personnel; large contracts; monitoring and directing FPT-IS CEO and other senior leaders in daily activities.
Mr. Do Cao Bao takes the highest responsibility for building the unity, agreement and cooperation among FPT-IS, supporting leaders, account managers and member companies in management of strategic customers; searching for investment opportunities beside traditional business lines to bring new strength and height. Mr. Do is also responsible for the commitment made by FPT-IS towards customers and partners, which is either written or invisible implication on the foundation of mutual understanding and long- term relationship.
NEW BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Date of Birth: 10/06/1973
Place of academic achievement: Hanoi University of Technology, Faculty of Information Technology.
Joined FPT on 1st June 1995.
On 1st January 2006, he was appointed General Director of FPT Software Solution. He was one of the youngest directors of FPT at that time.
Since FPT IS’ unification in 2007, Trieu has been through the position of Deputy General Director of FPT IS cum HR Manager.
He shall officially be the successor of Mr. Do Cao Bao as the CEO of FPT- IS commencing on 24th March 2010.
Deputy General Director Le Thanh Trung
Date of Birth: 05/10/1977.
Place of academic achievement: Hanoi General University..
Joined FPT on 1st May 2000.
With excellent business instinct, Trung is considered the best man in FPT IS to explore and develop new markets. He has become the Director of FIS Bank since 2007.
In 2008, he was appointed General Director of FPT Information System for Finance and Banking Services (FPT IS Bank). He has led FPT IS Bank to be the largest subsidiary, accounting for 50% of revenue and profit of FPT IS.
He was officially appointed Deputy General Director of FPT IS on 9th March.
Deputy General Director Do Son Giang
Date of birth: 17/12/1973
Place of academic achievement: Banking Academy
Joined FPT in 1997.
He used to be the Financial Planning Manager of FPT Group and FPT IS..
Having excellent knowledge and working experience as the head of the financial department, Giang was appointed Deputy General Director of FPT IS on 9th March 2010.
Deputy General Director Phung Viet Thang
Date of Birth 25/10/1969
Joined FPT in December 2009
Before working in FPT, Thang used to undertake a number of senior positions such as Business Manager of Oracle Vietnam and CEO of Autodesk Vietnam.
He was appointed Deputy General Director of Global Business of FPT IS on 16th December 2009.
Deputy General Director Nguyen Tuan Hung
Date of birth 01/02/1962
Place of academic achievement: graduated from Faculty of Mechanic Mathematics, National General University of Belarus Republic in 1984 and earn the Doctorate degree in 1987
He joined the FPT Ho Chi Minh City Branch in 1992.
In 1995, he established the Project Department, working under the model of FPT IS Hanoi. His Department was always the most productive center of FPT in Ho Chi Minh City. After the unification of FPT IS, he became Deputy Director of FPT IS Ho Chi Minh City. Since February 2008, FPT IS Ho Chi Minh City has grown steadily in terms of revenue and profit under his leadership.
