FPT IS appoint CEO of FPT IS Global

In this position, Mr. Tuan has responsibilities and rights including proposing business strategies; deploying the globalization strategy planned in FPT IS’s strategy; managing and operating FPT IS Global and performing other duties assigned and authorized by Chairman and Management Board of FPT IS.

New CEO of FPT IS Global has worked for FPT in telecommunications sector for 15 years.

Mr. Le Anh Tuan, born in 1977, graduated from Faculty of Information Technology, Vietnam National University in Hanoi. He has worked for FPT in the field of telecom software for 15 years.

Since 1999, FPT.BCCS developed by Mr. Tuan and his colleagues at FPT IS TES has brought about nearly USD35 million in revenue, including USD14 million from foreign markets.

According to FPT IS Chairman Do Cao Bao, this appointment is in the policy to upgrade and perfect FPT IS Global as a major member of FPT IS with full organizational structure and leadership to implement “Global 200” strategy. “In the near future, FPT IS will continue to appoint at least two Deputy General Director of FPT IS Global," he said.

By October 2013, FPT IS Global has had 164 employees.
