Mr. Dao Gia Hanh, Director of FPT IS IT Infrastructure Center, represented FPT IS to receive the award at the opening ceremony of Vietnam Finance and CIO Asean Award 2011 attended by nearly 200 guests.The Vietnam Finance 2011 conference and CIO ASEAN AWARDS 2011 were held at the Sheraton Hotel in Hanoi from September 28 to 30 with the active participation of FPT IS.
On September 28, Mr. Dao Gia Hanh, Director of the FPT IS IT Infrastructure Center and Manager of the FPT Could Computing Project, gave a presentation on "CIOs and Cloud Computing strategies" at the CIO Summit, which provided detailed data and an analysis of IDC, Gartner and RedShift Research/AMD, affirming that cloud computing is a technological trend that will be applied by most enterprises in the future. Hanh also gave recommendations on solutions and ways to deploy this technology in organizations and enterprises in Vietnam, based on his analysis of IT leaders' interest and the potential of cloud computing technology .
On the same day, at the first discussion session on the "Deployment and Application of Cloud Computing in Vietnam," FPT IS General Director Duong Dung Trieu and other speakers gave their opinions on the feasibility of deploying this technology in Vietnam. Trieu also made opening speech for the CIO Award presentation ceremony as the sponsor for its gala dinner.
In the seminar "National Finance Restructuring: Challenges for Policies and the Trend towards Partnership and Integration," “ICT In Finance” was officially renamed to “Vietnam Finance” to deal with more important matters of national finance.
In the reporting session on Monday, September 30, the conference focused on "Directions for Modernizing State Budget Management" hosted by the leaders of the General Department of Taxation. Also at the conference, Vice General Director of FPT IS for Public Finance Services (FPT IS PFS) Chu Khanh Hoa gave a presentation on "Applying IT Infrastructure for the Development in the Taxation sector”.
