FPT IS deploy SAP ERP for Minh Phu Seafood Corporation

The participants in the ceremony included Chairman of FPT Myanmar Hoang Minh Chau, Deputy General Director of FPT IS Nguyen Tuan Hung, Deputy General Director of FPT IS ERP Bui Trieu Anh Tuan, Chairman and CEO of MPC Le Van Quang along with the representatives of SAP Vietnam and project management teams of the two sides.

The leaders of FPT IS and MPC signed the contract to start the project worth $ 4.5 million. It is divided into 5 stages and expected to last for 10 months.

The project aims to provide accurate and timely information to leader board of MPC, helping them make decisions quickly. In addition, the project will link resources, increase productivity, improve professionalism of the system and standardize operational process.

Earlier, though MPC also had many selections of SAP ERP providers in and outside the country, it chose solutions by FPT IS ERP . Besides understanding business and production specifications of MPC, the provider must have capacity, experience and investment funds.

The project will be divided into 5 stages and implemented in 10 months (from November 2013 to August 2014). SAP ERP system will be applied to MPC and 3 affiliates in Ca Mau, Hau Giang and HCMC. This is also the first SAP ERP managing system to be deployed for the fish processing industry in Vietnam.

On 15 and 24 July, FPT IS ERP also launched the projects to upgrade the Oracle ERP to version R12 for Vietnam Dairy Products Joint Stock Company (VNM) and Dien Quang Lamp.
