FPT IS hold Kick- off Conference in the Philippines

FPT IS just held 2014 Kick- off Conference in the Philippines, where the company has the biggest opportunity of globalization with 5 large contracts.

FPT IS Chairman Do Cao Bao said that the only way for FPT IS to perform globalization strategy successfully was to run.

The meeting was highly appreciated as globalization was also the cross-cutting theme besides other business orientations. Accordingly, improving quantity and quality of human resources to better meet the opportunities was also one of key contents at the conference.

Mr. Do Cao Bao said the total number of foreign opportunities of FPT IS was much more than domestic opportunities. Within 2 months, the number of contracts signed with foreign partners increased by 4 times over the same period of 2013. In addition to many packages under consideration or implementation, the company is about to participate in having bid for some projects worth hundreds of millions of dollars .

FPT IS is reaching out Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Japan, Netherlands, U.S., South Africa, Senegal, Kenya, Ghana, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Nepal, Bhutan, Maldives etc.

However, in order to meet opportunities from these markets, the major challenge is human resources, especially key positions, experts, project managers.

In the future, the company will promote recruitment and training of experienced and qualified human resources using foreign languages ​​ including English, French, and Japanese and willing to work offshore . Besides, FPT IS will submit reasonable reward and remuneration policies to the Corp in order to encourage staffs to join globalization.

The Globalization Committee will have monthly meetings while FPT IS Global and its subsidiaries have biweekly briefings to ensure smooth flow of information, synergy and unity.

In 2014, FPT IS expects to gain an increase of 13% in sales and 15% in gross profit. In particular, sales from foreign markets are planned to increase by 65 %.
