FPT IS sponsors "Exhibition of ICT Applications in Finance" in Cambodia

The "Exhibition of Cambodian Information and Communication Technology Applications in Finance 2010" took place in Phnom Penh on September 29 and 30, 2010. The event was co-organised by the International Data Group (IDG) and the Cambodia Ministry of Economy and Finance; FPT IS sponsored the evening party at the event.

Under the theme "Reinforcing Finance Services with ICT Applications", the exhibition attracted many experts and speakers from leading regional and international IT vendors such as SAP, Trend Micro, Indra, Oracle, and First Cambodia. Mr. Pham Quoc Vuong, an expert from FPT IS, introduced FPT IS's integration solutions for finance, emphasizing some of the company's finance and banking systems and its development strategy in the Cambodian market. FPT IS experts from the department also demonstrated many key solutions.

The evening party was held at the Cambodia Hotel with nearly 100 invited guests. To open the party, FPT IS CEO Nguyen Tuan Hung said, "There are many similarities between Vietnam and Cambodia, and applying information and communication technology in finance processes and services has played an important role in the development of both countries. With our presentations at this exhibition, we hope and believe that the cooperation between FPT IS and Cambodia will expand rapidly."
