FPT is the Diamond Sponsor of Vietnam ICT in Finance 2009
The 6th year for the event "Vietnam ICT in Finance 2009" co-hosted by the Department of Financial Information and Statistics- Ministry of Finance and IDG shall be organized on 23rd and 24th September 2009 in Hanoi Melia Hotel, focusing on the “Building Foundation of E-Finance". FPT Information System is the diamond sponsor of the exhibition.

The exhibition organizers disclosed that leaders and IT experts of the Ministry of Finance, the General Department of Taxation, Customs and the State Treasury, the State Security Committee, and the National Preservation shall attend the conference to seek for technological solutions and consultation for their modernization projects worth 104,42 million USD in 2009-2010.
The prominent projects among them go to the procurement of IT equipments with the budget up to 65,88 million USD; Construction of IT infrastructure and Security- 13,9 million and Implementation of IT Services- 6,87 million USD.
In addition to popular subjects on Security, Database management and Communication Infrastructure, the conference shall mention new issues relating to the preparation of the IT strategy of the Finance sector from now to 2025.
Especially, the construction and development of public financial services have marked a turning point in the investment in information technology ranging from hardware platform to professional solutions and provision of e-services.
Almost these hot topics relate to about-to- implement- projects such as: e-payment for financial transactions; value-added services on network infrastructure of the finance sector; securities market monitor, risk management for the taxation and customs.
Speeches and presentations by FPT Information System are expected to focus on the implementation of e-services and IT Outsourcing for the Finance sector. The exhibition is being designed to propagate the personal income tax project and widespread the registration for personal income tax code.
