FPT IS won contract from a public service client

FPT Information System for Telecom and Public Services (FPT IS TES) was announced to be winner of the project “MIC 1-3: Building a Testing Center” by IT Project Management Unit of Ministry of Information and Communication.

The project aims to build a nation-level quality pilot center.

The project aims to build a nation-level quality testing center, in which FPT IS will provide equipment, testing solutions to evaluate the software applications provided for governmental agencies and institutions or used by enterprises when needed.

This testing center not only tests or pilots software applications and discards unqualified ones but also contributes to develop a set of quality standard for the information technology of Vietnam.

It is necessary to build a national testing center to improve the quality of IT products and, at the same time, minimize risk once they are deployed in mass scale. The testing center is also to support the e-Government program of Vietnam.

The project will be implemented within forty seven weeks. The contract was successfully negotiated in 2012 and is executed in 2013.
