FPT Japan win Cloud consultation contract

Nagoya office will participate in consulting technical solutions for Cloud, Analytics and Big Data device management projects with Japanese customers.

The contract was won in the framework of Nikkei Cloud Days 2014 in 26-27 February with the participation of FPT leaders.

FPT Japan's third office in Nayoga city was launched in October 2013.

Accordingly, the customer uses hospital-bed management software that helps nursing homes as well as household monitor health status of the elderly. A hospital-bed is equipped with basic medical equipments such as a rug to determine whether patient is lying or not, aneroid sphygmomanometer etc. These devices are connected to transfer data to the central system on Windows Azure (Microsoft's Cloud).

The last users can access the system to know health status of the elderly anywhere, anytime and with any device.

According to Mr. Dinh Tien Hung, Head of Representative Office in Nagoya, if the project is successfully finished, it will create favorable conditions for FPT to convince car giants in Nagoya with its own technological power.

With experience in implementing projects related to cloud computing in the last 5 years, FPT understands challenges businesses are facing in the transition to Cloud technology. FPT has developed a service system covering the entire transition process to use Cloud technology and helped solve challenges.
