FPT joins Vietnam ICT Summit 2015

The representative of FPT Corp along with leaders of other large technology enterprises will join Vietnam ICT Summit 2015 held by Vietnam Software & IT Services Association (VINASA) on June 25 in Ha Noi.

Themed “Information technology and smart management” , this year's program will attach special importance to Delegates at the summit will exchange and discuss trends, strategies and solutions to effective IT application to such areas as public service, health, insurance, transport, urban areas and human resources.

Accordign to VINASA President Mr. Truong Gia Binh, Trương Gia Bình, Vietnam will lack nearly 500,000 IT employees wiithin next 6-7 years. If there are no solutions to the HR shortage, many job opportunities will not come to Vietnam.

"Innovating management system is crucial to the development of each organization, each enterprise and every nation. The IT boom as well as technology trends including SMAC and IoT (Internet of Things) bring about opportunities for breakthrough development and inspire optimal solutions to challenges all countries, businesses and organizations are facing,” said VINASA Chairman and FPT Chairman Truong Gia Binh.

Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung will attend the event and make a speech. Attending the forum will have over 500 delegates and an especially international delegate is former Japanese Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama who will share experiences from Japan’s development practices.

Vietnam ICT Summit is the forum on policy for ICT development and country modernization annually organized by VINASA since 2011. At Vietnam ICT Summit 2013, the Prime Minister identified IT as one of the most important driving forces for national development, contributing remarkable part to improve the country’s socioeconomic perspective.
