FPT launches new SMS services
One lucky winner will have dinner with singer Ho Quynh Huong in FPT’s MobiOne’s “Send Text Messages to Meet Idols” competition by sending text messages to 8300. The competition, just one part of MobiOne’s mobile phone-based value added services, began in mid May.

MobiOne has also introduced the “Finding your Way” and “Information on Stars” services via mobile phones. By sending a message to 8100, customers can receive tips on the shortest routes around Hanoi or information about music, movie and other stars from a giant database with updated information on more than 30,000 stars.
The service can be accessed by users of VinaPhone, MobiFone, and Viettel and is suitable with nearly all generations of mobile phones. MobiOne also plans to shortly launch other information services such as weather reports, foreign exchange rates, tidbits on singers, funny stories, famous sayings, taxi company phone numbers, lottery results, and ATM locations, among others.
