FPT Mobile opens branch and mobile phone maintenance center in Hai Phong City

The third branch of FPT Mobile in Vietnam country has been established following two other branches in HoChiMinh City and DaNang City. Also this is 9^th Service Point of Samsung and Motorola mobile phones in the territory.

FPT Mobile Hai Phong Branch covers cares, products distribution to agencies and repairs/maintenance of mobile phone for customers. Earlier, whenever customers need his/her mobile phone repaired and/or maintained, it was necessary to send phones to service points located in Ha Noi city so it took time for deliveries. Today, the new center will help cut waiting time for customers within 8 working hours for light damages and 18 working hours for bad damages. Also, FPT Mobile agencies will no longer spend more costs for deliveries.

Mr. Bùi Ngọc Khánh, Vice General Director of FPT Mobile said: “The branch in Hai Phong city is among the expansion plan of professional service points in the whole nation as well as build a contingent of qualified sales and customer care staff of Mobile. Also in October 2007, FPT Mobile opens another branch and mobile phone maintenance center in Can Tho province. It is expected that in 2008, FPT Mobile will open more authorized service points in other provinces like Thanh Hoa, Vinh and Nha Trang.”

Warranty Policies of FPT Mobile:

1. Duration: printed on the voucher.

2. Policies for faults caused by manufacturers:

(a) Within warranty: handset, battery, charging, Bluetooth handset damages will get free repairs at locations listed on the back of voucher.

(b) If it takes two days for repairs at FPT Mobile warranty centers, customers will get another same type of mobile phone. Warranty duration for the changed hand phone will be seen as the first buy.

3. Warranties Refusal in cases of damaged hand phones which are not belong to manufacturers’ faults:

(a) Replace cracks, breaks, wears, color changed, scratches, and stains on covers of handset, battery, buttons, screens, and antenna.

(b) Customers use improperly, does not follow instructions in the manual and/or accessories are not provided by FPT Mobile.

(c) SIM and/or handset locked and/or faulted.

(d) Accessories are worn, cracked, deformed, exploded, fired and/or attached with strange things.

(e) Handset and/or accessories are worn, stolen and/or warranties stamps are lost; accessories are replaced.

4. For cases (d) and (e) in item 3, customers will not get warranties although the warranty is valid.

5. Warranties rejected if customers do not have warranties and/or warranties stamps are worn, lost and/or no information is reserved in our data base.
