FPT officially provide IBM PureFlex System

That IBM selects FDC as its PureFlex System provider illustrates a step in the right direction to bring IBM’s new products and technologies into Vietnam.

PureFlex System is the future technology trend towards cost-effective and comprehensive solutions, then reaching Big Data, Smart Cloud and virtualized IT infrastructure. The PureFlex System merges storage, networking and management capabilities into one infrastructure system, aiming to enhance the connection between servers and increase the capacity for storage, processing and information security . In particular, server, storage area network ( SAN), network system , management node , middle layer software and applications are built in Patterns of Expertise to automate and optimize the deployment and maintenance of clients’ workloads.

The solution targets customers in the governmental sector, banks and financial institutions, enterprises and service providers, who are in need of large scale technology infrastructure. In addition, its openness which enables units to customize the system in order to meet their own needs and characteristics is considered another advantage of PureFlex System.

FDC will put the solution on sale in the Vietnamese market with 2 versions:

Version 1: Offering IBM's full hardware solution including servers, storage and networking systems and uniform management service.

Version 2: Offering a solution package of hardware, virtualization components and operating systems on the forms available for customers (customized according to their needs).

About warranty, authorized warranty on the whole products is directly given by IBM’s service department. Customer contact channels include 04/08-39462000 and [email protected]. The service team will respond within 04 hours since being informed of incidents. IBM also has equipment warehouses for warranty in Hanoi, HCMC and Da Nang.

PureFlex System has onsite warranty on it in the inner city of Hanoi, HCM and Da Nang. For other locations, agents can purchase the upgrade warranty package or send equipments to FDC’s service centers in 4 cities of Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh, Da Nang and Can Tho to get warranty support.

In October 2013, FDC officially put Demo Center into operation, applied to all PureFlex System products. To sell Pureflex System products, agents must take exams and gain the certifications required by IBM to ensure the advisory capacity.
