FPT opens BPO service center in Danang

FPT IS BPO will take jobs relating to business process that its clients outsource. FPT IS’staff will carry out various tasks, from simple items such as data input or digitalized documentation… to more complex work such as customer service, human resource, finance and accounting, and data processing.

FPT IS hopes to provide jobs to thousands of young people while reaching a revenue of US$500 million upon contracts from Japan, the US and Europe. Taking advantage of the abundant and young labor force in Vietnam's central region, FPT has decided to locate its BPO service center in the central city of Danang, to set up a background for its ambition of earning US$500 million by 2013.

BPO is currently the global trend. By using BPO, companies will be able to save administration cost for business processes. More focus will be made on main business operation to raise company’s competitiveness. And such operation will be more effective with professional support from BPO supplier.

BPO was first applied more than 10 years ago and has since been developed strongly. In 2008, income from BPO worldwide is expected to be US$682.5 billion as compared to US$405 billion in 2003. In Vietnam, BPO has been started with simple BPO services such as accounting, security etc.
