FPT opens Center for International Consultant Training
Hanoi, October 18, 2008, FPT opened the Center for International Consultant Training. This is the first professional center to provide training for IT expert and ERP consultants in Vietnam. The center is located in FPT Cau Giay Building, furnished with advanced facilities.

The first recruitment starts from October 20 to November 15 2008. Complete tuition fee for the best 25 applicants will be provided by the center with proposed packages from 3,000 to 5,000 USD per student, while support for excellent students, who are committed to work for FPT in the future, will also be considered by the center. The center expects to have enrolment every two months.
Eligible applicants are bachelors or last year students from the universities of IT or university’s faculty of IT (such as Hanoi University of Technology, FPT University, Technology College – University of Hanoi, etc.) or universities of economic and financial subject (such as the National Economic University, Institute of Finance, Foreign Trade University, etc.).
The center also plans to extend its training to individuals who want to try advanced IT subjects such as “ERP software consultancy”, of which jobs and work positions usually offers high income and international recognition. Each subject will take 4 months. Each trainee will then receive a certificate and has a chance to work in FPT projects abroad.
Lecturers at the center are the experienced and qualified consultants who have taken part in many ERP projects. The center will assist trainees in improving their skills through technology transfer combining both theory and practice.
Mrs. Nguyễn Thúy Hằng, Deputy General Director of ERP Services Company and Director of the center stated: “Application of ERP solution takes up 80% of the world market values of software and IT services industry. To meet this demand for high quality ERP services, FPT has decided to establish the Center for International Consultant Training. We hope the center will make great contributions to Vietnam's vocational training development, and help to train qualified IT experts to meet Vietnam's demands for the industry in the future. By the end of 2009, the center expects to complete training of 1,000 trainees.
