FPT operate in the heart of Japan's auto industry
FPT Japan under FPT Software has officially opened a new office in the city of Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture , Japan. This is the 3rd office of FPT Japan in Japan, following 2 offices in Tokyo and Osaka.

Nagoya is the fourth largest city as well as one of the three major industrial centers in Japan with manufacturing industry accounting for 20.2% of Japanese production. Most of Japanese large automakers such as Toyota, Mitsubishi and Suzuki are headquartered here.
For FPT Software, Japan is the most important market. Speaking at the launching ceremony, Mr. Hoang Nam Tien, Chairman of FPT Software said: "Opening the representative office in Nagoya, FPT Software hopes to expand Software Development Outsourcing in this city in particular and Japan in general. We will prioritize investment in human resources, technology and process as well as give comprehensive support to FPT Japan and Nagoya office".
In 2005, FPT Software established its legal status in Japan. Besides contributing most to FPT Software’s revenue (50%), Japan is one of the most important markets in the globalization strategy of the company.
In last 3 years (2010-2012), the revenue from the Japanese market has always achieved average growth at 27.5%/year. It is expected to reach 40% in 2013. FPT Software sets target of USD 200 million in revenue from the Japanese market by 2017.
At present, FPT has operated across 14 countries and territories around the world including Laos, Cambodia, Japan, USA, France, Singapore, Australia, Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia, UK, Myanmar, Germany and Vietnam.
FPT expects profit from overseas business will reach about 30% of the total profit by 2015.
