FPT participates in “Volunteer Day”

In the spirit of “Volunteer Day”, on August 17th, 2008, FPT held and participated in community activities.

100 FPT employees joined the “Back to School relay” walk

Of special note is Mobile Eyes, a special contest held by FPT. On this occasion, the contest reserved an exclusive Volunteer Journey theme. This is a mobile image contest to capture moving moments during volunteering work and of the volunteers themselves.

Applicants may upload their images at www.mobileeyes.vn by November, 2008. Other themes include: traffic safety, food safety and hygiene, environmental protection; … Images will be voted online. 2 grand prizes for “Volunteer Journey” will receive 2 Nokia N72 each and also weekly most voted images will receive a Nokia 2600.

Also on “Volunteer Day”, about 100 FPT employees took part in the “Back to School Relay” walk jointly held by Hochiminh City’s Youth Association, Hochiminh City’s Communist Youth Union, Hochiminh City’s Student Union and Tuoi Tre Newspaper. Right after the walk, FPT’s young unionists paid a visit to and presented gifts to a Children’s home at Saigon Station located at 16/99 Ky Dong Str, 3^rd Dist., Hochiminh City.

FPT regularly organizes community activities which spreads through E-Citizen communities through FPTs connected product such as Vitalk.
