FPT people to welcome the 1,000 year-old Thăng Long
Activities to welcome the 1000th year anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi are being implemented by FPT Corporation. A one-billion contract has been signed by the Corporation for decorating 139 square meters of the pottery wall that stretches along the Red River. The figure 139 symbolizes the birthday of the Corporation, 13th September. The picture, which is 69.5 meters long, is expected to complete by the corporation’s birthday anniversary this year.

The picture tells about FPT e-City. It is described in the idea presentation “an ever-lasting moving belt like a never-ending road, a film , a gene... The belt keeps moving in multi-dimension featured by changeable and bended space, creating uniqueness and eye stimulation by modernity and hi-tech”.
The picture is inspired by the image of the mother-board of a computer. Buildings and construction blocks, accordingly, shall be attached onto a road like computer components. The whole road is floating in the space in a modern visual style .
Together with the pottery road project, the program “FPT- a thousand hearts” is on finishing stage. The 1,000 blood-unit donation has been completed 60% as planned after only three months launched. Charity blood donation has been carried out by FPT branches across the nation, attracting the participation of hundred of people inside and outside the corporation.
Another activity of the program is 1,000 present plan, in which till now the most typical is giving 100 gifts to agent- orange victim children and 80 gifts for Tet holiday for underprivileged children in Da Nang city.
All the activities and program heading to the 1000th year anniversary of Thang Long Hanoi are being carried out enthusiastically by FPT people to make it more meaningful to the greatest day of the city in particular and the country in general.
