FPT pioneer campus in Vietnam

Most large software companies in the industry such as Infosys, Wipro (India); Neusoft (China), TCS (Japan)... possess large modern campus. The leading technology firms namely Google, Facebook, Microsoft also have their own campus.
At these campuses, beside monumental office space, there are areas including research and development, training, library, service (cafeterias, coffee...), entertainment - creation, landscape and even dormitories for staffs.
Applying this model, FPT has started with the first campus of FPT Software in Saigon High-Tech Park, F - Town 1, which was put into operation in January 2011.
Last May, F - Town 2 building was also commenced to construct with a technical floor, 5 storey floors, 1.5 basement and functional areas such as office, multi-function conference room and entertainment.
FPT Software has put two campuses in Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City into use while it is expected to run the third campus in the Hoa Lac Hi-tech Park in the near future. After running for some time, the campus model has brought many practical benefits.
Campus creates an innovative work space, suitable for technology companies as their workforces are young and full of enthusiasm and ideas. This model has utility areas such as sports, entertainment and relaxation to meet needs for exercise as well as stress relief, then increase employee’s engagement with the company.
This is an irreversible trend in the world. In Vietnam, there will be many Vietnamese technology firms to follow this trend in the future. At present, 6 projects of Vietnamese software Enterprises have been licensed to build offices of Software Division of Hoa Lac High Tech Park.
