On May, 21st 2007, the Ministry of Post and Telecommunication (now the Ministry of Information and Communications) and Microsoft jointly signed the “Copyrighted Microsoft Software for Vietnamese Government” contract. The agreement included the above scheme.
In realizing the project, on July 2008, FPT-IS established a Technical Consultation and Assistance Center for the Project.
