FPT received CSR 2012 Award

FPT has eliminated a number ofcompanies to win the Third Prize in the Corporate Social Responsibility 2012 programorganized by Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) in cooperationwith ministries and industries.

The program took place in themorning March 30 at the National Convention Center with the attendance ofenterprise community, governmental officials and related ministries,international organizations, and NGOs operating in the field of sustainabledevelopment.

Among participating profiles, theOrganization Board had selected 41 enterprises to the finale ground of laborand environment criteria. The prize included 12 main prizes and 29 encouragedprized evenly allocated for each criteria, in which FPT had been nominated inlabor category and won the Third prize.

Similar prizes were also given toKEYHINGE Toys Vietnam and Dong Tien (labor category) Da Nang Pharma and IndochinaResort Co. Ltd. (environment category).

The First prize went to Tin NghiaCorporation (labor category) and Chang Shin Vietnam Co. Ltd. (environmentcategory).

The Second prize went to Hoa ThoTextile JSC and Phong Phu International JSC (labor category) and Intel ProductVietnam Co.Ltd and Unilever International Vietnam Co. Ltd. (environmentcategory).

According to Mr. Truong Phan VietThang, coordinator of the Vietnamese Business Community for SustainableDevelopment (VBCSD) and member of Organization Board, it was a great success of FPT for winning theprize at the first time of participation, which reflected the company’sremarkable contribution in the labor category.

Director of FPT Ho Chi Minh TruongThanh Thanh shared that this was a meaningful award of FPT in developing itslabor policy as a business culture.

The CSR Award 2012 by the VCCI aimsto honor enterprises that are successfully combining CSR activities with theirbusinesses and gained notable achievements in the field of labor andenvironment from 2010 to 2012.
