FPT receives commendation from Hochiminh City People’s Committee

March 22nd, 2008 in Hochiminh City, Deputy Minister of the Post and Telecommunications Ministry Mr. Nguyen Minh Hong awarded The Corporation for Financing and Promoting Technology FPT a commendation for its excellence in the information technology and communications sector in 2007. Three other subsidiaries of FPT also received commendations: FPT Information System, FPT Software and FPT – Aptech.

The commendation ceremony

The ceremony, hosted by Hochiminh City’s People’s Committee, is also an opportunity for IT companies to exchange their views concerning current situation and future outlook.

Statements concerning policies and commitments to create an attractive investment climate for the city’s IT sector were also made by the Deputy Minister of the Post and Telecommunications Ministry Mr. Nguyen Minh Hong, Deputy Standing Chairman of Hochiminh City’s People’s Committee Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tai, and Director of Hochiminh City’s Post and Telecommunications Department Mr. Le Manh Ha.
