FPT Retail implement a strategic cooperation with Intel Vietnam

The two sides will jointly implement product display and experience area and the marketing activities towards consumers of FPT Shop.

On April 23, Intel Vietnam and FPT Retail signed a strategic partnership agreement for brand promotion and product experience at the chain of FPT Shop.

Accordingly, Intel Vietnam and FPT Retail will jointly deploy product display and experience area and marketing activities for consumers who go shopping at FPT Shop; periodic training for sales and tech teams of FPT Shop; marketing programs to promote brand development and brand awareness via online advertising banners as well as at FPT Shop.

CEO of Intel Vietnam Mr. Tran Duc Trung said that FPT Shop was one of the leading digital retail chains in Vietnam with an extensive distribution system as well as a team of enthusiastic and professional employees. With this strategic cooperation agreement, Intel expected that the company and FPT Retail will implement practical programs to create more opportunities for users to experience Intel chip integrated products at FPT Shop.

Responding to the trust of Intel Vietnam, FPT Retail CEO Nguyen Bach Die said that FPT Shop aimed at not only bringing customers the most comfortable and worthy experiences, but also spreading technology everywhere and universalizing informatics to more people.

Currently, FPT Shop has reached 200 stores in 63 cities and provinces nationwide. In the first quarter of 2015, FPT Retail’s revenue increased by 30%, its profit up 80% compared with the plan. In 2014, FPT Retail’s revenue increased by 78%, exceeding 29% compared to the plan, completing 172% of profit plan while its human resource soared from 2,600 to 4,300 people. The challenging coverage expansion gained some successes with 164 shops more than 14 stores as expected.
