FPT run two strategic programs in Japan
Training 10,000 bridge system engineers (BrSE) and providing cloud-based services are the strategic directions FPT Corp will focus on deploying in Japan.

At the 9th anniversary of the establishment of FPT Japan on November 10, FPT announced its two strategies in the presence of the high-level leaders from 21 Japanese companies and corporations.

Accordingly, till 2018, FPT aims to train 10,000 bridge system engineers (BrSE) in order to help FPT in particular and Vietnam’s IT firms in general have enough capability to receive IT outsourcing from Japan as well as assist Japanese companies in getting more young engineers.
This program is built on the successful experience of the BrSE training program deployed by FPT Software in recent years. Accordingly, about 5,000 engineers will be trained in the form of oversea study in Japan. The remaining will be trained in Vietnam under Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT) Degree program by FPT University and BrSE training program by FPT Software.
Currently, FPT in collaboration with Kagawa Institute, Meros Language School (Japan) has been preparing for the course to train the first 50 participants in the form of oversea study in Japan on April 2015. The next courses with about 500 IT engineers will be held in July and November 2015.
In regards to cloud-based service, the company aims to become the leading provider of the Japanese customers in process of or preparation for a shift to the cloud.
At the anniversary, Citus Cloud Suite 1.0 developed by FPT Suite 1.0 was first launched in Japan. Earlier, FPT successfully implemented a number of projects to provide Japanese customers cloud-based services/solutions such as developing apps for smart TV, transferring apps to Microsoft Sharepoint Online platform, Amazon Web Services and converting apps into Saas- Software as a service, then helping them improve the efficiency of business activities,
According to FPT Chairman Truong Gia Binh, FPT was attempting to bring about greater values to Japanese customers including not only competitive cost but also HR quality and advanced technology capability. "FPT have been actively investing to develop human resources, especially human resources in such a new technology as cloud and cooperated with leading partners such as Amazon Web Services and Microsoft," said Mr. Binh.
In the global strategy of FPT Corporation, Japan is always considered as one of the most important market, bringing about the stabile and sustainable growth. Currently, FPT Japan has 3 offices and expects to possess 500 employees by the end of 2014.
In the first 9 months of 2014, the volume of work from the Japanese market increased by 21% over the same period with VND 925 billion in revenue equivalent to nearly USD 44 million.
