FPT Securities earn over VND 40 billion in pre-tax profit in QI

In particular, revenue from brokerage services reached VND 17.9 billion while revenue from underwriting securities was VND 5.7 billion and revenue from other activities gained VND 34.7 billion. Profit before tax in the first quarter was VND 40.9 billion and profit after tax gained VND 33.1 billion. Accordign to FPTS, as in QI, the stock market was less active than the one last year, FPTS' business sectors were decreased.

The less active market has an impact on FPTS’ index.

FPTS announced 2014 cash dividend payment to shareholders at the rate of 5%. Under the resolution approved at 2015 AGM of FPT Securities, the registration deadline for exercising the right to receive 2014 cash dividends is April 13. Shareholders will receive 5% cash dividend, equivalent to VND 500/share.

Earlier, FPT Securities’ AGM also approved the increase in Charter Capita by issuing share s from owners’ equity and Chairman concurrently hold CEO. It was expected to issue 7.3 million shares with the ratio of 10:1.

FPTS was also named one of nine outstanding securities companies in the 2009-2014 period by the HNX. FPT Securites stayed among Top 10 securities companies by brokerage market share in HOSE and HNX.
