FPT Shop aims to benefit community

Thousands of young people joined many activities on the Volunteer Day by HCMC Youth Union in the morning of August 18. Staffs of FPT Shop under FPT Retail also participated in this meaningful program.

FPT Retail in collaboration with Nokia in Vietnam gave 100 cell phones to freshmen overcoming difficulties with excellent achievements in the university entrance exam 2013.

According to Youth newspaper, VND 8.5 billion was donated by units and benefactors during the launching day of the program "Relay to school". In particular, FPT Shop along with Nokia in Vietnam gave 100 mobile phones worth VND 200 million to freshmen overcoming difficulties with excellent achievements in the university entrance exam 2013.

The representative of FPT Retail said that through meaningful activities, the company desired to spread the spirit of mutual help to all its staffs as well as help to further the responsibility of each individual for the social security works towards community benefits.

Previously, on August 13, FPT Shop accompanied by Dell Vietnam donated a laptop to Nguyen Huu Tien – the valedictorian of Hanoi Medical University. It is expected that FPT Shop will gift more 12 laptops for the freshmen with high results in university entrance exam 2013.
