FPT Software Da Nang ready for big chance

FPT Software is expected to get 1,500 employees by the end of 2014.

In “Technology world” program by HTV9, CEO of FPT Software Da Nang Nguyen Tuan Phuong said that the company proactively prepared for resources and infrastructure in order to get ready for big opportunities in the field of software.

Specifically, in terms of resources, FPT Software Da Nang has signed cooperation agreements with seven universities and training centers in the central region. In addition, the company also improved its software engineer training program as well as deployed it in some universities and training centers to help students meet its requirements right after their graduation.

Regarding infrastructure, FPT Da Nang just commenced FPT Complex, which is expected to accommodate 10,000 employees by 2020.

FPT Software has operated in Da Nang since 2005. The company made significant contributions to Da Nang’s software export through the software centre located in Massda Industrial Zone.

In the past 3 years, its software export achieved an annual growth rate of 50-60%, the number of IT engineers also increased rapidly from about 400 people in 2011 to 1,500 people (expected to reach by the end of 2014). Many projects worth millions of dollars with giants in the world, especially Cloud-related ones, have been deployed in FPT Da Nang.

CEO Bui Quang Ngoc also confirmed that FPT would make technology-oriented investment in FPT Da Nang with software and education as its core. He believed that FPT Da Nang would become talents’ favorite spot in the near future.
