FPT Software establishes branch in Malaysia

FPT Software Malaysia’s establishment is to better serve the Corporation’s major local clients such as Petronas/iPerintis as well as to start expansion to the Malaysian market.

Mr. Phan Hoàng Sơn – Managing Director of FPT Software Malaysia says: The company aims to achieve a revenue of 1.8 million USD in 2008, 2.5 million USD in 2009 and 5 million USD in 2010.

According to Mr. Hoàng Việt Anh, Director of FPT Software Asia Pacific: “Following the establishment of FPT Software Asia Pacific in Singapore (in March 2007), the establishment of FPT Software Malaysia once again reiterates the commitment of FPT Corporation’s strategy to building a software outsourcing market in the Asia Pacific region. With high demands for IT human resource, Malaysia is expected to be one of FPT Software’s main markets in the near future. During the past 2 years, FPT Software has established strategic cooperation relationships with notable Malaysian companies. This cooperation combined with the young, dynamic and passionate contribution of FPT Software Malaysia’s staff will help to ensure the success of the company.”

Mr. Nguyễn Lâm Phương, Deputy General Director of FPT Software: “Due to cultural and historical differences between Malaysia and Singapore, FPT Software Malaysia was established to help FPT Software Asia Pacific in Singapore get a better grasp of business activities in Malaysia as well as in the region.”
