FPT Software found a new unit to 'hunt' tens of millions of dollars

Along with the establishment of the Z8, Chairman of FPT Software Hoang Nam Tien also decided to appoint Mr. Phung Quang Dat as Director.

The Chairman of FPT Software just decided to establish FPT Strategic Unit Z8, formerly known as Software Center Z8 under FSU1. The Z8 is responsible for developing new projects in the field of Communications, Content Media & Entertainment and managing parts for DTV. Besides Vietnam and the US, Z8’s resources are allocated in the Philippines and Slovakia.

Meanwhile, FPT Software also appointed two deputy directors including Mr. Vu Dang Khoa and Mr. Le Thanh Nhan.

FSU1.Z8 was established in February 2014 with Mr. Phung Quang Dat as Director. In 2014, Z8 gained a growth of over 90% in revenue. HR made an outstanding step, from 355 to 604 people, including 15 foreign employees. Establising a CME unit is important for Z8 to bring about tens of millions of dollars in revenue in the next 3-5 years.

FPT Software currently consists of FSU1, FSU11, FSU15, FSU17, Z8, GDU, ESS, G-ET, GSC.
