FPT Software officially commercialize Eduprove

The program was held in F - Ville, Hoa Lac, Ha Noi, with the participation of leaders of both parties and representatives of 30 universities in the city.

CEO of FPT Software Nguyen Thanh Lam and Vice Chairman of Hitachi Tetsuya Kurebayashi signed the business contract. Both of the sides believed that the product would improve management efficiency of educational institutions and contribute to the development of education in Vietnam.

Hitachi has successfully implemented Eduprove with the name of Uniprove in 18 universities of Japan. With the desire to develop this software in other markets, the company decided to choose FPT Software to transfer the right to develop and commercialize software in Vietnam.

Focusing on the computerization of business process in training management, Eduprove would support managers in optimizing system and eliminate overlapping of operations among departments in order to reduce management costs and improve operational efficiency as well as help student, lecturers and leaders in mining and tracking information.

As it is developed based on Cloud and SOA (Service Oriented Architecture), users can select multiple forms to use the software according to actual needs such as package, functional modules and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS).

Before its official launch, Eduprove was deployed for FPT University in Da Nang in the form of Saas. The system solved disjointed data management among departments and centralized operations of users including lecturers and students.

Eduprove was developed based on the strategic cooperation agreement between FPT Software and Hitachi signed in early 2012. Accordingly, FPT Software is the only Vietnamese firm to have rights to localize the content, customize features according to demands of domestic customers as well as commercialize the software in the Vietnamese market.
