FPT Software opens 20th office worldwide
On May 29, FPT Software officially opened FPT Software Philippines in Cebu IT Park, Cebu City, Philippines. This is the 20th office of FPT Software in the world.

By the end of 2015, FPT Software Philippines is expected to have about 150 people which will be increased 10-fold by 2020, equivalent to about 1,500 people.
"FPT Software is aiming to gain USD 1 billion in revenue and 30,000 employees by 2020 and join a playground like "World Cup" of software services companies worldwide," said FPT Software CEO Nguyen Thanh Lam. "The Philippines with similarities in culture and high quality human resources is our first choice in ASEAN to replicate the development model in Vietnam. The other destinations such as Myanmar will be the next".
Cebu is a province of the Philippines located in the east of the island of Negros, one of the most developed areas of the country and the key trade, education and industry center in the Central and the South of the island.
Cebu IT Park with the area of 24 hectares is one of the leading IT parks and modern commercial centers of the Philippines. FPT Software expects FPT Software Philippines will become a service development center with personnel and technological capability equivalent to other major centers in Vietnam.
According to CIPC - Investment Promotions Center CEBU, each year there are about 80,000 Filipino graduates, 28.6% of which major in IT and technique. Compared to some other countries in the Southeast Asia, the Philippines’ human resources own the advantages of communication skills in English and working experience in the international environment.
In 2014, FPT Software achieved VND 2.900 billion in revenue (equivalent to USD 135 million), an increase of 35% compared with 2013. In the first 4 months of 2015, FPT Software continued to achieve strong growth in revenue compared to 2014, reaching nearly USD 50 million, up 52%.
FPT Software is aiming at USD 1 billion and 30,000 employees including 5,000 consultants by 2020. In order to achieve this goal, FPT Software needs to admit about 4000-5000 people annually. In 2015, FPT Software needs more 4,000 people.
Therefore, in addition to human resources in the domestic market, FPT Software will boost its recruitment in the markets outside Vietnam. The CEBU office is considered one of important human resources.
Currently, over 350 customers of FPT Software are giants in the areas of Banking and Finance, Aviation, Energy, Automotive Industry. The company is the senior consulting partner in the field of Cloud and Mobility of Amazon Web Services and Microsoft.
FPT Software has over 8,000 employees, 1,000 of whom are living and working in 19 countries around the world. In Vietnam, the firm has 4 key service development centers in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang and Can Tho. The centres in Hanoi, HCM City and Da Nang have respectively 3,500, 2,000 and 1,500 people.
