FPT Software organizes Parents’ Day

FPT Software is one of the few businesses in Vietnam which reserves a special day just for the parents of its employees. The 2008 Parents’ Day is within the framework of celebration for the 10^th anniversary of FPT Software (January 13, 1999 – January 13, 2009).

“FPT Software holds this event annually to extend our best wishes to the parents of our employees. We hope this good tradition will be remained for many years to come”, said Mr. Nguyen Lam Phuong, Deputy General Director of FPT Software.

At the event, FPT Software’s leaders will report on the current state of business, receiving the suggestions and answer questions from the parents. Participating parents will pause for a souvenir photo, then have a chance to visit their children’s workplace at FPT Software’s headquarters in Hanoi.

Invited parents are coming from different provinces in Vietnam such as Nghe An, Thanh Hoa, Thai Binh, Vinh Phuc, Thai Nguyen…, some from very far places. “Our family feel moved for the kind idea of the company’s managers. I am proud and happy to visit my son’s workplace and to see the growth and vigor of the company. I believe such unity and democracy in FPT Software will promote employees’ contributions and innovations”, said Mr. Nguyen Khac Thanh (from Nghệ An) – father of Nguyen Khac Vuong, an employee of FPT Software.

After a decade of development, FPT Software has grown strongly. As of end of third quarter of 2008, company’s accumulated revenue is over VND 478.5 billion. The company currently has nearly 3 thousand employees working in 3 branches in Vietnam (located in Hanoi, Danang, and HCMC), as well as its overseas subsidiaries in Japan, France, Singapore, Malaysia, the US and Australasia.
